I agree with your yahoo comments. MSFT is desperate after they saw goog's earnings.

Thanks, i copied your 'upcoming week psychology' and will use it to set up trades. Your view of Apple is differs from most though. I tend to see Apple going much higher after they report on Wednesday.

MSFT is not desperate, they are smarter than you give them credit for. MSFT will beat Google eventually.

"Boring" is a word we use to describe a lack of market moving economic data or earnings.
Sorry for any confusion and lack of transparency.

I disagree with VMW falling after earnings, we'll see who's right as I merely teach Psychology, no financial background. I do watch r Jim Cramer's show and find him very good, also read WSJ online. I found your blog on the WSJ commentary btw. Keep blogging, I don't understand all, but I was attracted to the name.

How would you suggest one play oil? Since you suggest that oil will peak to 120-130 and then fall to 80, do you suggest one buys puts on big oil majors? or is there another way? I am not familiar with futures but I keep hearing about futures trading and speculators..

Without knowing your particular financial situation; we only recommend futures trading for speculative accounts, and remind you to follow the 11 Commandments.
I use optionXpress out of Chicago. They are publicly traded. Your greatest leverage lies in the futures market, but again, we stress the aggressive nature that entails, good luck. Hope that helped, and thanks for the question.
